Project Lead the Way
The focus of the Technology Program at Main Street School is to foster 21st Century Learning and STEM Education- where projects incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Children in 5th grade will continue the Project Lead The Way program this September. The next steps in this exciting venture will help student advancement in problem solving and collaboration skills through the STEM subjects beyond the content introduced in fourth grade. Students will participate in PLTW classes 1 time a week, all year long, and will use IPads and VEX construction kits to infuse research and applications in the realm of ROBOTICS.
