Science:
The goals of our science program are to stimulate children’s natural curiosity and to encourage a growing appreciation of their world. We nurture a desire to ask questions and to develop the skills so our students can answer their questions. The curriculum helps students acquire the investigation strategies used by scientists as they learn important scientific concepts by developing hypotheses, working through different investigations, collecting data and analyzing that data to better understand scientific cause and effect. The curriculum is hands-on and activity based which encourages students to collaborate with peers within diverse life and physical science units.
